Exploring the innovations of future food champions
The current transformation of our eating habits and of consumer’s expectations is a inevitable challenge today for every established player of the food industry. However, those very changes enabled an entire new generation of players to emerge, by developing new technological solutions to current and future problems.
This year, the JAS aim to contribute to the emergence of these future champions. Hence the creation, in partnership with La Rochelle Technopole and DigitalFoodLab of a start-up village of 40, to gather in one place the very best of start-up innovations fitting the great topics of the convention.

Every year many startups are created and every year many technological innovations appear from them.
Among such a rich ecosystem, identifying the true jewels can be a challenging ordeal.
This year, the JAS La Rochelle startup competition plan to remediate that issue. Thanks to a jury of experts and agribusiness professionals, the most promising start-up of each category will be rewarded, according to their fitness to the current global food trends.
